Chatters Rules
1. No swearing, obscenities, or vulgarities
2. No sexually explicit or obscene nicks
3. No advertising of IRC channels or Mass Invites
4. No autogreets on join or exit
5. English and Tagalog language only, take other languages to private chats
6. No over usage of CAPS, Caps are considered as Yelling !!
7. No harassing of the OPs ( That WILL get you kicked/banned )
8. No rudeness toward other users or obnoxious behavior
9. No remarks about a user's ethnics, morals, or religious beliefs
10. No remarks about a user's sexual preferences
11. Do not ask or beg for OPs.. We do the choosing!
12. No Flooding with text, action, ASCII characters, nicks changes or ASCII art !

Reminders
#tulay is NOT a sex channel or pick up joint. Please refrain from being sexually explicit or you WILL be kicked from this channel.
This channel is for English & Tagalog only, if you wish to use languages other than English & Tagalog use a different channel or private msg's with a willing person.

OP Rules
Operators are required to use your original nick while you're opped inside the channel. If you are using another nick or change your current nick, ask permission and the reason to the founder or your co-ops, or you must deop in #tulay. Set yourself to voice (+v) if you want to.

note: It is ok to use explanations on the end of your nick while opped.
Eg: Nickname-away , Nickname-afk, Nickname-busy, Nickname-whatever.

Penalties

SOP's not showing regular participation on #tulay channel will be downgraded to AOP's. AOP's not showing regular participation on #tulay channel will be removed from the AOP list. No prior notice will be given on downgrading or removal from AOP list. Removals and downgrading is to be done by the founder or to the person/persons who he gave him the authority to do that.

Operators having difficulty in dealing with hostile users, do not hesitate to call for help from an IRCop, they are there to help you. Record their nick, time, domain/host and the reason if necessary and report it to the FOUNDER, IRCop or to the other trusted authorities.

How to become an OP
New candidates are 3nominated by the present OP's based on the user's character, presence, morals, and participation on the channel. The nominee is then presented to the channel SOPs. If you are approved, you will be OP'ed.. New OPs will have a 30 day probation period .. during which time they will be observed by other OPs . - - The founder reserves the right to accept or reject any nominees :)
